We currently partner with eight (8) organizations, located in Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Colombia.

What Is Our Criteria for Partner Organizations?

  • Global Strays facilitation and administrative staff has met with all of our partner organizations in-person several times before we bring them on as an official partner.
  • We focus on organizations that receive limited resources and are struggling to continue their work due to lack of funds.
  • Global Strays is currently focused on helping organizations in Latin America, and we are planning on further worldwide expansion in the future.
  • We exclusively support organizations that model their behavior behind the five freedoms of animals and also focus on spay and neutering efforts to improve quality of life for all animals. Our work with our partner organizations focuses on the One Health Model to support the entire community, understanding the connections between animal health and human health.
  • We support animal rescuers that have an official organization name. We do not support independent animal rescuers that aren’t affiliated with an organization nor shelters that are not actively seeking adoptive homes for their rescue pets. These organizations must have corresponding social media accounts where their work is published regularly.

As we grow as an organization, we hope to continue to expand. If you meet the previously mentioned criteria and would like to be considered for the future, please fill out the form below. If you do not have a shelter or foster home and would like to collaborate with us on another type of project, please send an email to contact@globalstrays.org with as much information as possible about your organization and include social media links and/or website.
