Give Back With Global Strays®

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect countries around the world, our partner shelters in Latin America are seeing a rise in pet abandonment and lack many of the resources to accommodate such a surge in homeless dogs and cats.

With animals in need like never before, we have set up an Emergency Covid Crisis Fund to deal with the increased pressure on our partners’ shelters and rescue efforts. Your donation today will help with:

  • Veterinarian care and food for recently abandoned animals.
  • Veterinarian care and a food pantry for pets whose owners are struggling to properly care for them during this crisis.
  • Salaries for six caretakers who are working hard at our partners’ shelters to care for an increase in abandoned animals.
  • Spay & Neutering for rescued animals and for owned pets from families who could not otherwise afford it.

Huesitos was rescued from a life of severe neglect, having been chained to a fence for his entire life. With help from Global Strays and our partner organization in Nicaragua, Huesitos received the care he needed and was fully rehabilitated. He was adopted in December 2019 and is now living life to the fullest in a loving home.
