97.7% of what we spent in 2022 went directly towards our programs to help animals in need.

With Global Strays, you are making a difference in the lives of suffering animals in places of the world that are largely forgotten.

At Global Strays we don’t just rescue one dog at a time. Our approach addresses the root cause of animal suffering and stray overpopulation in underserved regions of the world.

In 2023, we spayed/neutered 1,787 animals, fed 1,512 animals, taught 3,475 students – and so much more.

But we urgently need YOU. A working horse in Nicaragua who has never received any veterinary care in his lifetime, waits for treatment. A child who hits their pet needs education to change the way he treats animals. A stray suffering on the streets, needs rescuing.

Your donation today to Global Strays will provide:

  • Free spay and neuter clinics for pet owners to address the stray overpopulation crisis
  • Educational workshops teaching kindness and empathy to all living beings to break cycles of animal mistreatment
  • Veterinary clinics for working horses, the majority of which have never received vet care in their lives
  • Ongoing support and funding to our partner shelters for their rescue animals and facilities.

Join us in becoming a difference-maker to reduce animal suffering in developing countries where only about 5% of dogs have owners, compared to 95% in the U.S.

We’re in a race against time to create a world where animals and communities not only survive but thrive. Join us in our urgent mission, and see your donation make an immediate impact.

“I have been able to work with many rescues in the USA and transport dogs from many places, but I understand that it is simply putting a band-aid on the situation. I love that Global Strays is working to fix the problem at the root, both by educating people on how they can properly take care of their animals, as well as making it possible for people to access proper medical care or spay and neuter services. I thoroughly believe in Global Strays’ work and the lasting effects of what they are doing.”
